	Founded in 1982, the Cumberland Arts & Crafts Guild began as a small gathering of like-minded Artisans who wanted to share their love for hand-made crafts, many one-of-a-kind. Since that time, the Guild has grown out of the Cumberland area just east of Ottawa to share their passion with artisans from Quebec and down to the Kingston area. Now in 2012 we have voted to change our name to the Capital Artisans Guild because of the much larger area that we serve. Take some time to wander through our pages and see the work of our crafts people. Perhaps you will see something you need. If so, drop us a line.

	The purpose of the Guild is to further arts and crafts in the Cumberland (Ontario Canada) and surrounding area (City of Ottawa). With monthly meetings, informative newsletters and two markets a year, our enthusiastic organization has made long strides since it's inception in 1982. We provide a forum where members can learn new skills, exchange ideas, provide and share information about arts and crafts and much more. The purpose of the website is to share information about the guild, and provide a showcase for our members to display their work.
